Introduction

At SSELFIE, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our personal branding platform and services. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Name and email address
  • Account credentials
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
  • Profile information and brand preferences

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our service, including browser type, IP address, pages visited, and time spent on pages.

Photos and AI tools

When you upload a selfie or reference photo, SSELFIE stores it so you can use it in our photo tools and see your results.

When you create a photo, we send the images and instructions needed for that request to the AI provider running the tool.

Selfie Shoot currently uses OpenAI. Some of our other photo, model-training and video tools use Replicate.

How our AI providers use your photos

OpenAI says data sent through its API is not used to train its models unless the customer chooses to opt in. Standard safety logs may be kept for up to 30 days.

Replicate says files used for normal image generation are deleted from its API systems after one hour by default. Private models created for an account may stay there until they are deleted.

Where your photos are stored

Your uploaded and generated photos are also stored by SSELFIE using Vercel.

Right now, these files use private-looking links rather than being protected behind your SSELFIE login. Someone would need the exact long file link to open one, but we want to be clear that the file itself is not currently login-protected.

Vercel says stored files are encrypted at rest.

Deleting your photos

If you delete a selfie inside Selfie Shoot, we remove that selfie from SSELFIE's image storage and database.

Some other image tools do not yet delete every stored file automatically when you remove it from the screen.

Deleting your SSELFIE account also does not yet automatically remove every stored image or private AI model held by every provider.

If you want everything connected to your account deleted, email hello@sselfie.ai and we'll handle the full deletion request while we finish improving this inside the product.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate AI photos based on your uploaded images
  • Deliver education products, guides, and account-based access experiences
  • Process your payments and manage your subscription
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments and questions
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Supabase for authentication and database services
  • Vercel for hosting and deployment
  • OpenAI for Selfie Shoot image generation
  • Replicate for AI model processing

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
